When did you start doing CrossFit?
About a year ago in Minneapolis
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
WELL. I’m originally from Wisconsin, recently from Minneapolis and loving Chicago! I have two pitbulls, love (not necessarily in this order); coffee, traveling, mornings, sunburnt cheeks, the smell of my dogs paws, carrots, music, high fives and the wild unknown.
What was your fitness routine before CrossFit?
Intercourse training. Kidding, don’t put that. I started running marathons at 19, and traded that in for triathlons, did Capoeira for a couple years, lots of spin classes and weight training.
Favorite WOD? Anything with burpees! And thrusters.
Least favorite WOD? Anything with rowing. Ish.
Favorite Lift? Overhead Squat or Snatch
Lease favorite lift? Axel anything.
How has your view about CrossFit changed since your first WOD at CFL?
Not much, only reinforced that I was right on in picking this great group!
What were your goals when joining CrossFit? And have you achieved any of these goals?
Just to do a little more each day.
How has CrossFit affected your life outside of the gym?
Of course, I can unscrew the lid of ANYTHING.
What advice would you give to a newbie just joining CrossFit Logan?
Listen to your coaches and keep coming back!. If you are cute and fun come to the 6am class.
